Sourced from bankrupted video stores, forgotten attic corners, and soggy cardboard boxes, Nitehawk’s VHS Vault Archive is a collection of digitally preserved weird, rare and out there VHS of public access oddities, art docs, bootleg concerts, and grimeball horror flicks — all told it’s a bloody mess of man-eating brains, killer cops and quite a lot of naked people.
MONDAYS AT 10PM
Crack a Skittlebrau and join us for Simpsons Club, a free weekly screening of three classic episodes from television’s first family along with Tracey Ullman shorts, original air date commercials and whatever other bits of nerdery we can dig up to give this beloved pop culture institution a renewed sense of history and context.
LO-RES WRESTLING WEDNESDAY
Ring the bell and kick out the jams! The belt’s on the line and we’re feelin’ fine! Every month we’re hosting a night of music and low quality video featuring the best professional wrestling bootlegs from Nitehawk’s VHS Vault and music from WFMU DJ Paul Bruno.
JAMESON MUSIC VIDEO NIGHT
Lo-Res and Jameson have teamed up for a night of music and mayhem, featuring deep cut music videos from today and yesteryear alongside a menu of Jameson cocktails.
