A FOOTBALL PROGRAM

new-footballprogram-ss-lrgThe music in the stands, the cheer on the sideline, the drama of the game, the physical toll.

As the football season draws to a close, Nitehawk is taking this opportunity to fill the sports lull between the Super Bowl and March Madness with MORE FOOTBALL. Of course there’s more to football than just the game itself, and for our February brunch series, A Football Program, we’re highlighting the entire live experience that’s vital to appreciate the game fully.

First, we kick things off Super Bowl weekend with the aughtsie cheer-fest Bring It On; followed by Peter Berg’s blood, dirt and racism drama Friday Night Lights. Hoop Dreams director Steve James takes a look at traumatic brain injuries as a public health crisis in his documentary Head Games; and then we bring it on home at the BET Big Southern Classic with Nick Cannon and Zoe Saldana in Drumline on 35mm.
