Submit Your Original Short Film/Video/Animation
Nitehawk loves film and we want to see yours! We highly encourage independent filmmakers to submit short films for our Pre-show and upcoming Shorts Festival.
PRE-SHOW (for works under 5 minutes)
Nitehawk has a 30-minute window between our Feature Presentations when audiences arrive early to eat, drink, and enjoy our pre-show entertainment. Our Pre-show is a combination of shorts: serial pieces created by Nitehawk, videos by independent filmmakers, and entertaining clips that range from the history of cinema to the contemporary works online.
NITEHAWK SHORTS FESTIVAL (for works under 20 minutes)
Nitehawk will be hosting its inaugural Shorts Festival this summer. This festival will screen works in the theater chosen by our Cinema Department both from filmmaker submission and independent research. Animation, experimental, narrative, and artist moving images are all welcome! Select works from the festival will also be chosen to be shown in appropriate upcoming Pre-shows.
FOR OUR CONSIDERATION
For us to review your film, video, or animation you must submit it to Nitehawk Cinema’s Short Film Group on Vimeo. Make sure that all of the relevant information is included: your name, email address, video title, format, date, and length along with a brief content description. If we are interested in your work we will contact you with further details on getting us a high-resolution version of your video that is suitable for the big screen. Please note that submission does not guarantee a response.
